NORFOLK & SUFFOLK COASTS
With so many beautiful beaches within a 10-50 minute drive from Somerleyton Meadows - you are spoilt for choice.

On the East we have Horsey and Winterton, through to Happisburgh, Sea Palling, Mundesley and Overstrand.

To the South is the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
It has many stunning beaches including Southwold, Thorpness Aldeburgh and Walberswick.

While further North there is Cromer, Sheringham, Wells, Blakeney and Holkham.

Cromer - a traditional Victorian seaside resort famous for its pier - is popular with bathers & surfers.
Mundesley, with its long sandy beach and colourful beach huts and Overstrand for its quieter appeal.

Sheringham and East/West Runton beaches have many rock pools when the tide is out.
If you like a more 'traditional' resort - Great Yarmouth is the place to go for fairgrounds and amusements.
Holkham has big skies, unspoilt sands and nature reserves and Wells is a 'must-see' beach for its beach huts and
mile-upon-mile sands and shallow waters when the tide is out.

The Denes Beach at Southwold is a sand & shingle beach backed by marshes and is a great place to walk the dog
whatever the weather.
Walberswick - the home of 'crabbing'-is a short walk from Southwold and is popular with nature lovers.

Thorpeness is the quintessential English beach. Dog friendly and with some nice cafés and shops.
